Tell me about your project.

Fill this in and I’ll come back within two working days with some first thoughts on it. If it looks like a good fit, we’ll set up a free consultation from there. No pitch, no obligation.

Common questions

How much does a project cost?

It depends on scope, and I'd rather price your project than a category. Tell me what you're planning and you'll get a quote built around what you actually need, after a free consultation, rather than a package price you have to fit yourself into.

How long does a project take?

I’d expect a few weeks to a couple of months from kickoff to launch, depending on scope and how quickly feedback comes back on each round. Your agreement sets the dates for your project.

What if you're away or unavailable?

Everything I do is remote, so being away doesn’t pause your project. If I’m somewhere with patchy signal or I’ll be slower to come back than usual, you’ll know before it happens rather than wondering where I’ve gone, and we plan the timeline around it.

Is it just you?

I lead every project from the first call to launch, and I do the design and the development myself, so nothing gets lost handing between two people. Where a project needs a particular craft, an illustrator or a photographer for instance, I bring in a specialist I trust, brief them and check their work. You deal with me throughout.

Do I need branding before we start?

Not at all. If you already have a logo and colours, I'll work with them. If not, I can sort branding as part of the project before anything gets built.

What does the process look like?

Project enquiry, then design and feedback, then build and review, then launch and handover. You’ll see and approve the design before I start building anything.

How does payment work?

Projects are split 50/50 by default: half to begin, half on delivery. The first half is due before work starts. If you are booking ahead, we agree the start date up front and paying early does not change it, so you can settle it whenever suits you as long as it has cleared by then. Every invoice after it is due within 14 days. Larger projects are sometimes staged across more than two payments so they track the work rather than sitting ahead of it. Whatever applies to you is written into your agreement in full before you commit to anything.

How many rounds of changes do I get?

Two rounds at each stage, unless your agreement says otherwise. A round means your feedback reaches me in one batch rather than a trickle of separate notes, and I work through all of it in one pass. If you want more than that, or you want to change direction after a stage is signed off, that is completely fine. I’ll tell you what it adds before I start, and it goes on the next invoice rather than appearing as a surprise at the end.

Can I make changes after launch?

Yes. For 30 days after launch or handover, whichever comes first, I fix anything in my build that isn’t doing what it was designed to do, free of charge. After that I’m still here: support is at my hourly rate, with no retainer and no minimum, and I tell you what a piece of work will cost before I start it.

Do you work with businesses outside the UK?

Yes, I work remotely with clients anywhere.

What does a website review include?

I’ll look at the mobile experience, the visual design, how the content is structured and the route a customer takes to enquiring. You’ll get the findings as a recorded walkthrough or a written report, whichever suits you, ordered so you know what to fix first.
